Recently, I was recommended the ugliest shoes I have ever seen. I cringed when I saw them on the computer advertisement. They were frumpy and grey and had no heels and were just plain, unattractive. I kindly said, no way! As I turned off the screen, I was happily finished considering the suggestion for the so called, nice shoes. Unfortunately, the continued hype of the shoe kept on, annoyingly, inside my home. Push for the shoe, that I could not click out of, like I had clicked out of on the computer. They are so fashionable, a human quipped, yuck. The shoes are really comfortable, for whom? I wondered. They reminded me of what Mr. Miyagi would wear on Karate Kid. I could see Mr. Miyagi in the shoes eating rice, plucking flies with his chopsticks. I was unimpressed by the look of the shoe and definitely not interested in ordering the shoes to wear, myself. Not to mention the shoes seemed kind of expensive to me. But the opposition kept on, and my guilt began to get the better of me, for not at least trying them. I finally just gave in and said I would go ahead and purchase the shoes. When they arrived a few days later they were too big, so the shoes went back. I ordered another pair afterwards and they too felt big. I kept the second pair in the box, laying in my closet, for a week. I tried the shoes on multiple times and they seemed to fit like a pair of running shoes, a bit large. I like how my running shoes fit. However, I did not know if the fit of these shoes would work, like it does for running shoes. The grey ugly shoes lacked a heel and you were to wear them with socks. I searched online for reviews from other suckers, like myself. I found most buyers wore their shoes, loose by up to 1/2 a size. I kept them. I finally put the shoes on my feet and went about my business in my house. I had been working for hours and finally remembered that I had the shoes on my feet! My feet were really happy and they were really comfortable. No way! These dowdy shoes were not supposed to work Only, they did work! But now, what would I do with the drab comfortable shoes? I mused. They were pleasant to wear. But very unfashionable and scruffy. I considered keeping them to wear as inside slippers. That is what the shoes resemble, anyway. I decided to look at pictures of them on the internet and came to the conclusion that they cannot be that bad, as other people wear them outside. So I wore them out too. They really are ridiculously congenial. I now have been wearing the shoes for over a week. They go well with jeans or slacks, as you can hide them under these type of pants. I looked online at other some styles of shoes that this was company makes. I have decided to buy another pair, they resemble a pair of casual summer shoes. Two strapped leather and opened toed. I cannot believe I ended up liking the shabby looking shoes. I guess comfort has its way, into the heart. Let me know if you have any unfashionable shoes that you love to wear, but not look at.
